Ultimate Beginner’s Guide in Omega Strikers

As mentioned, the game features 3v3 matches in which opposing teams have to score a goal and prevent their opponents from doing so. Needless to say, it’s a competitive game that combines elements of games like Rocket League and League of Legends.

As a beginner, you might find the whole concept of the game too overwhelming. However, as you keep on playing more and more matches, you’ll come to enjoy just how fun the game is. To help you with that, here are some tips I could recommend:

Familiarize the Abilities of All Strikers

Characters in Omega Strikers are called Strikers, and each of them has 3 different abilities that are unique to one another. There’s a primary ability, a secondary one, and an ultimate. In a way, some Strikers’ abilities focus more on scoring a goal while others focus more on dealing with enemy players.

It goes without saying that to get good in the game, familiarizing all Strikers’ abilities is a must. There are abilities to deal damage, stun your enemies, heal your allies, and a whole lot more.

You can use your abilities to kill enemy players. However, if you happen to die, you’ll have to wait for 8 seconds before you can return to the field.

I would highly recommend mastering the striker you prefer. You also want to familiarize yourself with the Training feature (more on that below). Once you have chosen a specific striker, you’ll be able to show to your teammates the role you prefer in the lobby.

Know Your Role

Just like in a real-life soccer match, you need to play your role in order to increase your chances of winning. There are two types of strikers in the game: one which is the Forward and the other one which is the Goalie.

If you play Forward, you have to make sure the ball (which is called core in the game) goes into the enemy’s goal. Meanwhile, if you play Goalie, you must make sure the core won’t get inside your team’s goal.

This gets even more in-depth as each character has different styles that will further complement your preferred playstyle. There’s a Sniper, Speedster, Controller, Brawler, and Specialist, all of which add an extra layer of complexity to the game.

Training Styles

In line with the styles earlier on, you can equip strikers with up to 3 Trainings in order to further enhance their effectiveness in a match. However, each striker can only choose 2 styles that fit their playstyle. Meanwhile, they all have one slot where you can insert whichever Training you want.
